Hailemariam Desalegn Boshe is an Ethiopian politician who served as the Prime Minister of Ethiopia from 2012 to 2018. Born into a rural family in Boloso Sore, Wolaita Zone, Southern Ethiopia, Hailemariam rose through the ranks of the political landscape due to his academic background and political acumen. He graduated with a degree in civil engineering from Addis Ababa University and later earned a master’s degree in sanitation engineering from Tampere University of Technology in Finland.
