Biography

Timothy Theodore Duncan, known as Tim Duncan, is a retired American professional basketball player widely regarded as one of the greatest power forwards in NBA history. Born and raised in Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, Duncan initially aspired to be an Olympic-level swimmer. He was a two-time NBA MVP (2002, 2003) and a three-time NBA Finals MVP (1999, 2003, 2005). Duncan was named to 15 All-Star teams, 15 All-NBA Teams, and 15 All-Defensive Teams.
