Holland was born in Kingston upon Thames, London, England. His mother, Nicola Elizabeth, is a photographer, and his father, Dominic Holland, is a comedian and author. Holland showed an early interest in the performing arts and attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon.
