Andy Biersack, born Andrew Dennis Biersack, is an American singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as the founder and lead vocalist of the rock band Black Veil Brides. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Biersack demonstrated a passion for music and performance from a young age. He attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, where he focused on drama and vocal music. In 2006, at the age of 15, Biersack formed Black Veil Brides. The band’s gothic image and theatrical style quickly gained attention, and they released their debut album “We Stitch These Wounds” in 2010. The album’s success catapulted the band into the limelight, with subsequent albums like “Set the World on Fire,” “Wretched and Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones,” and “Vale” solidifying their place in the rock music scene.
