Cesar Pelli was an Argentine-American architect known for designing some of the world’s tallest buildings and other major urban landmarks. Born in Tucumán, Argentina, Pelli earned his architectural degree from the National University of Tucumán. He later moved to the United States, where he obtained a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois School of Architecture.
