Christopher James “Chris” Christie is an American politician, lawyer, and political commentator who served as the 55th Governor of New Jersey from January 2010 to January 2018. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Christie grew up in Livingston, New Jersey. He graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in political science and later obtained his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
