Mullin is best known for his time with the Golden State Warriors in the NBA, where he played most of his career. He attended St. John’s University, where he was a standout player, earning the John R. Wooden Award in 1985 as the nation’s best college basketball player. Mullin was selected as the seventh overall pick in the 1985 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors.
