Christopher Asher Wray is an American attorney who has served as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) since August 2, 2017. He was born in New York City and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Wray completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University in 1989 and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School in 1992.
