Gary Burghoff is an American actor best known for his role as Corporal Walter Eugene “Radar” O’Reilly in the television series “M*A*S*H.” Born in Bristol, Connecticut, Burghoff showed an early interest in the arts, particularly in music and acting. He moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting and started gaining recognition with his role in the off-Broadway musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” where he played Charlie Brown.
