Gilda Radner was an American comedian and actress, best known as one of the original cast members of the groundbreaking television show “Saturday Night Live” (SNL). Born on June 28, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, Gilda began her career in comedy while attending the University of Michigan. She dropped out before graduating to follow her passion, moving to Toronto where she joined the Second City comedy troupe.
