He was born on January 7, 1967, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Irrfan graduated from the National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi in 1988. He started his career with television serials and small roles in films, but his breakthrough came in 2001 with the critically acclaimed movie “The Warrior,” directed by Asif Kapadia. Over his 30-year career, Irrfan became one of the most respected actors in Indian cinema, known for his versatile roles and natural acting style. He starred in numerous successful films, including “Maqbool” (2003), “Paan Singh Tomar” (2012), “The Lunchbox” (2013), and “Hindi Medium” (2017).
