Jerry Kramer is a former professional American football player who played as a guard in the National Football League (NFL) for the Green Bay Packers. Born on January 23, 1936, in Jordan, Montana, Kramer is best known for his integral role in the Packers’ dynasty years under coach Vince Lombardi during the 1960s. He played college football at the University of Idaho and was selected by the Packers in the fourth round of the 1958 NFL Draft. Kramer played his entire 11-year career with Green Bay, earning five NFL Championships and victories in the first two Super Bowls. He was also known for his accurate placekicking.
