Mark Justin Roiland, born February 21, 1980, is an American actor, voice actor, animator, writer, producer, and director. He is best known as the co-creator of the hit animated television series “Rick and Morty,” which airs on Adult Swim. Roiland provides the voices for both title characters, Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith. He also co-created the Hulu animated series “Solar Opposites,” where he voices the character Korvo. Roiland grew up in Manteca, California, and attended Sierra High School. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment.
