Mammootty, born Muhammad Kutty Ismail Paniparambil, is an illustrious Indian actor and film producer who predominantly works in the Malayalam cinema. He has also appeared in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and English films. Born on September 7, 1951, in Chandiroor, Alappuzha, Kerala, Mammootty is one of the most celebrated and versatile actors in Indian cinema. Over his career spanning more than four decades, he has acted in over 400 films and has received numerous awards, including three National Film Awards for Best Actor, seven Kerala State Film Awards, and thirteen Filmfare Awards South.
