Mindy Cohn is an American actress, voice actress, and singer, best known for her role as Natalie Green on the television show “The Facts of Life,” which ran from 1979 to 1988. Born in Los Angeles, California, Cohn was discovered by actress Charlotte Rae while Rae and the show’s producers were conducting research at Westlake School in Bel Air, California. Rae was so impressed by Cohn’s personality that she convinced the producers to create the character Natalie Green for her. After “The Facts of Life,” Cohn continued to work in television, film, and voice acting. She became the voice of Velma Dinkley in the “Scooby-Doo” franchise from 2002 to 2015. Her work has earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination and a TV Land Award.
