Orlando Cepeda, also known as “The Baby Bull” and “Peruchin,” is a former Major League Baseball first baseman who played for the San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, Oakland Athletics, Boston Red Sox, and Kansas City Royals. Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Cepeda came from a family with a rich baseball history. He quickly rose through the minor leagues and made his major league debut in 1958 with the Giants, where he was named National League Rookie of the Year. Over his 17-year career, Cepeda was selected to 11 All-Star Games and won the National League MVP award in 1967. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.
