Paul Scheer is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer known for his versatile work across television, film, and podcasts. Born in Huntington, New York, Scheer started his career in the world of improv comedy, performing with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City. His big break came with the MTV sketch comedy show “Human Giant,” which he co-created and starred in alongside Rob Huebel and Aziz Ansari. Scheer is perhaps best known for his role as Andre Nowzick on the FX/FXX series “The League,” a comedy about a group of friends involved in a fantasy football league. Beyond acting, Scheer has made significant contributions as a writer and producer. He co-created and starred in the Adult Swim series “NTSF:SD:SUV::,” a parody of police procedural dramas.
