Steve Largent is a former American football wide receiver and politician, widely known for his remarkable career with the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL). Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Largent played college football at the University of Tulsa before being drafted in the fourth round of the 1976 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers. He was soon traded to the Seattle Seahawks, where he spent his entire 14-season professional career. Largent became known for his exceptional hands, precise route-running, and ability to make clutch catches. Over his career, he set several all-time receiving records, including most career receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown receptions. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1995.
